Watch ye therefore: for ye know not when the master of the house cometh, at even, or at midnight, or at the cockcrowing, or in the morning:
Mark 13:35
The above verse shows the times the Lord comes. Those who are not watching are those who sleep through the night, we must learn to be awake in the night season. 1 Thessalonians 5:5. Globally, the church is in it’s evening time, in the night season. A lot of people are sleeping, though physically active. Relative to the program of God, they are asleep and hence we keep announcing His coming and reminding ourselves, so we stay awake. The church of His purpose is at the break of the new day. In the previous meditation, we spoke of the firmament (the heavens), speaking of His government been installed in your life, Daniel 4:26. We can see a type of this in the Children of Israel. After He delivered them from Egypt, He brought them to Sinai where He installed His government over them. He set up the leadership, the worship, the priesthood. The same way we do not know where our physical firmament begins and where it ends, so is His government, Isaiah 9:7. Above the firmament is His throne. God tells you plainly, I am your King, submit to Me. He will not submit to you, we must submit to Him. Genesis 1 refers to the individual, the church and the world at large. This meditation is focused on the individual. One of the things He is going to show you is that there is a difference between your spirit; His Spirit and your spirit working together and your soul. Before now, the soul has been the one predominant. When you get saved, He separates the two. Your spirit and His Spirit together bear witness that you are a child of God, Romans 8:16. They sit in the heavens; hence you are not confused about what is the Spirit and what is the soul. The soul had been fighting against God, by the enabling power of the Spirit, you know how to put your soul under subjection. The soul comprises of your will, emotions, desire and your mind. These are the four corners of the earth as we see shortly. The word of God, which is the authority of God, separates your soul from the Spirit, Hebrews 4:12. To give in to this division, we must continually appreciate the Word. We must meditate on the Word of God. Considering what happens next, Genesis 1:9-13, He begins to work on the soul. You will understand the soul is a fruitful land, God’s vineyard. Isaiah 58:11. If you leave it uncultivated, it becomes a place for all manner of beasts. From this point on, His major concern is working on the earth(your soul); salvation, deliverance, until He finally says let us make man in our image. The first thing He does is to separate the dry land from the sea. The dry land speaks of barrenness. Amid that water,
