Q&A – The blood of the everlasting covenant

Q&A – The blood of the everlasting covenant

Now may the God of peace [the source of serenity and spiritual well-being] who brought up from the dead our Lord Jesus, the great Shepherd of the sheep, through the blood that sealed and ratified the eternal covenant, [21] equip you with every good thing to carry out His will and strengthen you [making you complete and perfect as you ought to be], accomplishing in us that which is pleasing in His sight, through Jesus Christ, to whom be the glory forever and ever. Amen

Hebrews 13:20-21 AMP

Question:

Based on Hebrews 13:20-21 KJVS
[20] Now the God of peace, that brought again from the dead our Lord Jesus, that great shepherd of the sheep, through the blood of the everlasting covenant, [21] Make you perfect in every good work to do his will, working in you that which is well pleasing in his sight, through Jesus Christ; to whom be glory forever and ever. Amen.

What does it mean that the blood of Jesus makes us perfect in every good work to do His will? The book of Hebrews 9:19-22 says that the blood of animals made all the furniture in the old tabernacle perfect. Seeing that we are the temple of the living God now, how does that apply to us?
