SNIPPETS FROM SERMON When speaking of the fear of the Lord, we are not speaking of the terror of God, although that should be in our mind. While God is love, He is a consuming fire. He is not someone to be lightly esteemed. Proverbs 3:5-6 says in all your ways acknowledge him. At every time , you acknowledge something, whether God, Government, the devil. It is either you fear God and honour God or you honour the devil. Men live in fear of death and rather than acknowledge God, they run to something else. However, God is saying I am the ultimate "My word was the first word and my word will be the last word, fear me worship ,reverence me.
