Thus saith the LORD, The heaven is my throne, and the earth is my footstool: where is the house that ye build unto me? and where is the place of my rest? [2] For all those things hath mine hand made, and all those things have been, saith the LORD: but to this man will I look, even to him that is poor and of a contrite spirit, and trembleth at my word.
Isaiah 66:1-2 KJV
Snippets from sermon. Jesus's source of strength and power was from His prayer altar. He was so much in fellowship with God in prayer that his life was a blessing. He was always connected to the source of life. Jesus knew that when He ministered, there was a loss in virtue. This happened in the case of the woman with the issue of blood, Mark 5:24-34. Hence, He always had to return to the secret place to get a replenishing from His Father. The key to effectual ministry is your connection to the source of power. Tremendous power is made available as you pray. This was why Jesus was able to do good and bless lives as He prayed. His words are still being remembered today, because he was a man of prayer. Never neglect the secret place!
