The Resurrection Reality in the Gospel

Moreover, brethren, I declare unto you the gospel which I preached unto you, which also ye have received, and wherein ye stand; [2] By which also ye are saved, if ye keep in memory what I preached unto you, unless ye have believed in vain. [3] For I delivered unto you first of all that which I also received, how that Christ died for our sins according to the scriptures; [4] And that he was buried, and that he rose again the third day according to the scriptures:

What is the Gospel?

These days, there are so many people that claim to have heard the gospel, and that call themselves believers. However, if you has them the reason for their faith or ask them what the gospel is, their response is questionable.  

For example: A person who was told that if they believed in Jesus, they would be healed or have a better life. They may have been truly healed or they may have a better life and the gospel to them is that Jesus heals. This is true, but this is NOT the gospel. 

The content of the gospel are three major things: He died, He was raised up, was buried and very important was that He was seen by others (this shows he was truly alive). Finally, He was raised from the dead to never die again. This is the gospel!
